Behaviour Change & Engagement Training
Empower ⬥ Inspire ⬥ Motivate

Effective energy efficiency improvements can’t only be achieved through capital investments in self-generation, new heating and LED’s. How people behave inside a building has a huge impact on the success of such expense and on your carbon footprint.

Training FAQ's
Does we have to attend your workshops in person?
No! At Spenbeck we're all about making sure what we deliver is just right for you. Our workshops can be delivered both in-person and online and both delivery methods can be included. Most clients prefer to have the Optimising Stakeholder Engagement in person because the modules and surrounding discussions land better in person, whereas Carbon Literacy Training works just as well online.
I just need to train my team on the basics of sustainability, can you help with this?
Absolutely! We even have a 2 hour workshop named exactly that! It's been designed to simplify the overwhelm of acronyms and key terminology - think ESG, Net Zero, Carbon Scoping - and to help attendees identify how they can immediately translate this new knowledge into action. We touch on decarbonising culture, governance and how to have climate conversations too to provide a really impactful overview.
It feels like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of delivering sustainability training. Why should we use Spenbeck for our training needs?
We get that, and it's important to know you are getting genuine value for the time and money you are investing. For us, it's about harnessing our 45 year's of multi-award-winning expertise in building and maintaining sustainable communities into building capabilities that will have an immediate positive impact for your organisation. We're able to combine our commercial acumen with extensive experience in decarbonising buildings and delivering social value, all backed by several years of teaching expertise. Check out our testimonials to see the impact we have made for just some of our clients.
Budgets are tightening. We'd like to have some training but its increasingly becoming a 'nice to have'. How can I justify this cost to my line manager?
It's a very valid question. Our response is always to rephrase both training and consultancy support as an investment, rather than a cost. We politely remind those who are reticent that the cost of inaction will be dwarfed by the cost of inaction. Legislation, social trends and competitors' actions all mean that if you don't embed energy efficiency within your organisation now you are at real risk of playing very costly catch up later. It is why we offer both bespoke and off-the-shelf training so we can cater for every budget and ensure no one gets left behind.
